ABOUT ME

My career began as I landed my first Directorship position with a private sector company in Forestville, MD (2004-2008). Then my career grew profoundly when I began working for the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) – Division of Early Childhood Education – Office of Child Care (2008-2018).

My tenure thus far has provided me with the necessary skill sets, knowledge, and experience to know what it takes to operate/maintain a Quality childcare program/business. Therefore, I proudly serve as a valuable resource to the childcare community via consulting and coaching. My ultimate goals consist of building up future and present childcare providers, operators, owners, directors to make their visions come true.

Guidinglight Child Care Consulting, LLC is a company that is committed to helping persons with the licensing process as well as helping licensed facilities maintain the license requirements set forth by the State. Guidinglight is also dedicated to ensuring childcare facilities are in full compliance per the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR).

Our MISSION at Guidinglight Child Care Consulting, LLC is to promote the importance and many ways to operating/maintaining a childcare program of QUALITY. Our duty is compromised of enhancing health and safety measures through sound technical assistance and helping Owners/Operators/Directors grow their business through great marketing strategies and to be knowledgeable of proper resources.
